They are illegal in most states, smell like skunk and cat pee, need lined top and bottom enclosures, specialized vets, expensive food with a raw diet, and like all exotics are nearly always impossible to rehome. No, in general foxes do not like to cuddle or be held at all or very often. They are not domestic in the same way cats or dogs are, they are more so tame and learn to tolerate people. Even the Russian ones are not exactly like dogs. Domestic house cats aren’t even fully domesticated, they just learned to live with us.
