Hello! My name is Katie Innamorato (Afterlife Anatomy) and I am a rogue taxidermist, a member of M.A.R.T. or the Minnesota Association of Rogue Taxidermists. I create artwork using roadkill, donated/gifted, and found or scrap animal parts. My work has been featured on the hit TV show "Oddities," more recently on the TV show "Odd Folks Home," and has exhibited at La Luz de Jesus Gallery in Los Angeles, CA.
By using recycled items, either from roadkill or rejected skins, I am respecting the animal and giving new life to something that otherwise would have been thrown away or forgotten. This is the principle I stand behind when I am creating something. I have a passion for breathing new life into things that most people would not think twice about using.
